Client: Hack Decks — the “life hacks in a box” card deck line created by the founders of The Uncluttered Life
Services: Blog Content, Pinterest Management, Social Media (Instagram & Facebook)
The Challenge
Hack Decks launched as a product spinoff of The Uncluttered Life — a line of pick-a-card decks (Declutter Deck, Date Deck, and more on the way) designed to make overwhelming routines simple. As a new product brand, it needed to build organic visibility from scratch: driving people to lifehackdecks.com through content and social discovery rather than paid ads, and building an audience that would recognize the brand before its next deck launch.
The Approach
I built a content and social engine around each deck’s theme, designed to earn links and discovery traffic rather than rely on paid reach:
- Blog Content: Regular posts on lifehackdecks.com built around the themes behind each deck — decluttering, relationships, new parenthood — to build topical authority and earn backlinks.
- Pinterest Management: Consistent pin publishing and board strategy, since Pinterest is where a lot of lifestyle-product discovery happens before a first website visit.
- Social Media Management: Day-to-day content on Instagram and Facebook to build community and keep the brand active between product launches.
The Results
In a young brand’s first months of consistent publishing, the content and outreach program is already earning real authority signals:
Key Highlights:
- Referring domains to lifehackdecks.com more than tripled in two months — from 58 to 237 — a sign the blog and outreach are earning links, not just publishing quietly.
- Backlinks grew from 487 to 699 in the same period.
- Facebook following grew 13% quarter over quarter, with steady content views throughout.
- Instagram stayed active with 67 posts and reels published over the past year, building a base of just under 1,000 engaged followers.
- Pinterest presence launched and is already generating impressions on every pin published, laying the discovery groundwork for future deck launches.
The Impact
Hack Decks now has an always-on content and social presence supporting every product in the lineup. The early jump in referring domains and backlinks is the clearest signal: the blog and outreach strategy is earning the kind of organic authority that compounds over time, giving each new deck launch a warmer audience and a stronger search foundation to build on.
