I’m Lindsey Chastain, the detective behind the desk at The Writing Detective. For more than 25 years, I’ve worked across academia, journalism, and PR — uncovering the stories that shape businesses and helping leaders put their expertise on record.

With a Master’s in English, award-winning experience in journalism, and a career spanning university classrooms to newsrooms, I know how to investigate, edit, and craft content that gets noticed. Like any good detective, my process is about gathering the evidence, following the leads, and delivering findings you can act on.
